Architectural competitions are considered to be the royal road of architecture. They are organized to find the best design solution for upcoming planning tasks with regard to diverse requirements such as function, economy and aesthetics. At Gaus Architekten , we greatly value the opportunity to live out our creative potential in competitions and to measure ourselves against our competitors.
The catalog raisonné documents all current and completed buildings and projects since the company was founded in 2000 (until October 31, 2019 Gaus & Knödler Architekten). Individual projects of the predecessor offices Alois Gaus or Gaus & Haberzettl and Gaus & Unfried are also listed, provided that they are still of outstanding importance today or were the starting point for follow-up commissions.
