Fire station Bad Boll. Functional building in the context of an atmospheric landscape.
A fire station for four emergency vehicles was to be planned on the area at the edge of the village. A building was to be created that could simultaneously serve as a meeting place for the municipal council and as a control center in the event of a disaster.
Project dataIts appearance is not characterized by its various roles as a fire station, a control center in the event of a disaster, or a meeting place for the municipal council, but by its deliberate positioning and two-sided accessibility.

The positioning of the structure leaves the view into the attractive surroundings unobstructed and fulfills the desire to be able to extend the building if necessary.
On the first floor, the building comprises changing rooms, radio room, recreation room, workshop, warehouse and the modern vehicle hall. On the upper floor there are offices, a training and meeting room, adjoining rooms and rooms for the youth fire department.
The consistent design in exposed concrete and glass emphasizes functionality. Contrasts are formed by windows and floors made of wood and red doors. The design language gives the building a high aesthetic quality and individual impression.
