The new branch of the Gaus brand is being built in the residential and commercial building at Bismarckstrasse 54 in the west of Stuttgart. The future competition department of the internationally active architecture firm is undergoing extensive renovation and adaptation to meet the demands of a modern working environment.
Project data
In addition to the makeover into a place of inspiration for creative and sophisticated competition entries, the IT infrastructure was also redesigned for highly efficient work.
The warm color and material concept is based on the CI of the Gaus brand, while the characteristic arched windows of the existing building form the template for the design of the walls and the "inlay" in the carpet.
The ergonomic workstations promote concentrated design as well as constant exchange, while the coffee area provides a soothing finish to the room with its monochrome fitted kitchen in beige.
The clear design is expressed in a minimal furniture concept - the room is only accompanied by a bench across the entire width towards the window, which offers plenty of storage space, serves as a presentation area and invites you to sit down.
