"Exemplary building" in the district of Tübingen - 13th award for our fire station

Our fire station in Tübingen has already received 13 awards and has impressed across the board. The most recent award is particularly noteworthy: the prize for "Exemplary Building in the District of Tübingen (2017-2025)", in which our project was able to prevail against 105 applications. This award not only recognizes the outstanding architectural design, but also the consistent implementation of sustainable and resource-conserving building principles in public spaces.

The building impresses with its abstract Z-shaped floor plan, which enables a functional division into three zones and at the same time blends the volume harmoniously into the surroundings. The wooden façade with vertical slats of different widths and depths gives the building a lively, relief-like character. The centrally located vehicle hall connects the individual areas and ensures plenty of daylight and efficient, maneuver-free vehicle movement thanks to glass doors.
