Where commitment has a future
The planned construction of the new fire station in Dunningen marks the beginning of a new era for the local fire department: after many years of cramped conditions and constantly growing challenges, a modern location is now being created that meets the requirements of modern fire department operations in every respect. The new building symbolizes progress, safety and the future - for the fire department and for the entire community.
Project data
Demand-oriented planning
The planning of the new fire station is based on a detailed needs analysis, which was closely coordinated with the active members of the fire department and the relevant authorities. Not only were current requirements taken into account, but also future developments and operational scenarios. The aim was to create a building that can cope with all tasks in the long term - from day-to-day operational readiness to extraordinary disaster situations.
Planning according to current fire department DIN
The entire new building was planned in accordance with the current DIN standards and guidelines for fire stations. This means that all areas - from the vehicle hall and the black/white separation to the training and social rooms - meet the applicable standards in terms of safety, hygiene and functionality.

Work in such a way that your buildings generate added value for the location and people.

Accessibility
Special attention was paid to the issue of accessibility. All relevant areas of the fire station are barrier-free, allowing people with physical disabilities to use the infrastructure without restriction.
Own parking deck
The new fire station has its own parking deck to reduce congestion on the surrounding roads and improve accessibility in the event of an emergency. This means that firefighters have sufficient parking spaces available at all times - even during larger exercises or events.
No spatial restrictions
In contrast to the previous location, the new building offers no spatial restrictions. The spacious site and the well thought-out arrangement of the building sections enable efficient work processes and sufficient space for training, exercises and daily operational readiness.
Sustainable architecture
The new fire station also sets standards in terms of design: the wooden façade not only gives the building a warm, inviting appearance, but also underlines the sustainable character of the construction project. The use of natural materials symbolizes the close ties with the region and the responsibility towards future generations.
With this new building, the Dunningen fire department is sending out a strong signal for safety, modernity and community.
