Ensemble of buildings "Bahnpark" in Bad Boll. Residential construction in the Efficiency House Plus standard.
For the redensification of an inner-city neighborhood, the planning task was formulated as the creation of a building ensemble as a multi-story residential building. The scale of the surrounding structures was harmoniously taken up.
The buildings were planned offset to each other, which accentuates the differentiated facade design. This is reinforced by facades with different colors. Lightness and individuality are created by terraces, large windows and loggias. This creates places with a high quality of living and recreation.
The structures were designed on the site in such a way that they fit appropriately into the surrounding development. The building ensemble is accessed via a side street with above-ground parking spaces and access to underground garages. Great importance was also attached to barrier-free accessibility. The buildings are surrounded by green spaces and the site's past is incorporated into the exterior design: Old railroad tracks are preserved.
A special feature that stands out here is the efficiency house plus standard that has been achieved. The energy technology is based on air heating. The project was realized in three construction phases.
Each level contains three to four apartments. All apartments are equipped with spacious living, dining and cooking area. Each unit has a (roof) terrace or loggia. The orientation of the apartment to at least two, mostly to three open sides creates natural lighting and ventilation of the living and sanitary areas.
