Award at the DMK Award for Sustainable Building 2023
Award for our work in sustainable construction
We are delighted to receive the DMK Award for "outstanding achievements in the field of sustainable construction" for our fire station in Tübingen-Lustnau.
The DMK Award is presented every two years to highlight and celebrate dedicated planners as well as exemplary projects. The award is sponsored by the Dagmer + Matthias Krieger Foundation.
Sustainable building needs a sense of community with a view in the same direction and beyond.

Resource-saving in construction and operation
The fire station in Lustnau is a cradle-to-cradle-capable timber construction that we realized entirely from regional and FSC-certified wood. Energy is also supplied in a resource-conserving manner: photovoltaic systems produce electricity, and heat is obtained via a wood pellet heating system and solar thermal elements with buffer storage.
Thank you for leading by example.
