How does the application process work?
Once you have sent your documents (cover letter, CV, references and portfolio) by email to our HR manager Saskia Gaus-Mens, we will usually get back to you within a few days. If we have a positive first impression, we will send you a link that you can use to easily book a suitable appointment for the application talk. During this first 60-minute interview, which is conducted as an online video conference, we will quickly find out whether we are a good match. If so, a second interview will follow shortly afterwards, either via video meeting or on site, depending on the situation. This is followed by the trial work (a few hours or up to 2 days, depending on the position). This should give both you and us a better impression of a possible collaboration. If our positive impression is confirmed, the rest is a formality. Sometimes it takes less than two weeks from application to hiring. Because we also value our applicants.
Can I also submit a speculative application?
There is no suitable position advertised at the moment? But you feel that it could still be a good fit? Why not send us an unsolicited application? Maybe your position is already being discussed, but not yet advertised. Or we simply realize that we need exactly you. Convince us of your talents!
Are flexible working time models possible?
We take individual needs into account at Team . In principle, we offer all our employees flexitime, taking into account the core working hours. And if your life situation requires it and your job allows it, part-time employment is of course also possible.
Is further training supported?
We know how important it is to keep developing. Not to stand still. If you rest, you rust. That's why we consciously and actively invest in the further training of our employees. From short webinars to workshops lasting several days - we integrate our team into long-term training programs and take individual wishes into account. We also offer training courses that can be credited during working hours, especially for AiP trainees.
We have also launched our own source of valuable knowledge transfer within the team in the form of the "Gaus Academy": Individual colleagues share their knowledge in a wide variety of areas with colleagues.
Are there internal opportunities for advancement?
If you want to take on responsibility, you can do it with us. You can grow and develop with us. For example, we offer our junior architects the opportunity to train as junior project managers so that they can later manage our projects themselves. There are also opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow in other areas.
Do you organize team events?
In short: regularly. In short: there are few things better for cohesion and the climate at Team than cultivating relationships. And where better to do this than on a joint visit to a construction site, a boat trip on the water, a dinner together, a hike - there are few limits to the imagination here.
Can I combine work and family well?
The compatibility of family and career is very important to us. Our office manager is a mother of two children herself and knows better than anyone how great the daily challenge of balancing both areas of life is. We understand your family situation - let's talk about it, we'll always find a solution (which, by the way, is our office manager's motto in life).
My onboarding is coming up. What is the onboarding process like?
All beginnings are difficult. Not with us. We want you to feel at home with us from the very first second. That's why we've come up with a number of ideas for your perfect start. You will receive our onboarding manual and our QM manual as a digital tool. With our mentoring program, you will receive as much support and exchange as you need.
