A change of user made a core renovation with complete restructuring of the existing building unavoidable. The result is a modern distribution center for a wholesaler of electronic devices.
Project data
The entire building complex, consisting of an administration building, warehouses and transport logistics, had previously been used by another company. The existing room layout and building technology no longer suited the work processes of the new user. The complete refurbishment included the interior as well as the exterior and facade design. A spacious parking lot now welcomes visitors. The main entrance now features an exposed glass wing. This lets a lot of light into the interior and at the same time ensures a pleasant and friendly stay.
Centrally in the front part of the building, modern workplaces were created for the administration. Here, the facade was given a new coat of paint. Visually, this part now stands out with a gray metal facade. Attached to the administration wing, the large storage area is now located in the rear part of the building. This area also underwent a technical and visual overhaul.
After the construction measures, a modern, refurbished administrative building with storage area now presents itself, which follows the principle of short distances. A partner from the steel construction industry was responsible for drawing the exterior facades.
