Clubhouse Golfclub Hetzenhof in Lorch. Design concept with feel-good factor.
The construction task included the redesign of the clubhouse, incorporating the existing structures. The client's wish was to create contemporary rooms in the clubhouse, which had been unchanged since 1995. The project was successfully implemented in a construction period of just under three months.
Project dataThe membership was involved in the development of the interior concept. The selection of materials and furnishings was based on ecological considerations. Resource-conserving use was the decisive factor. Oak wood for the floor, seating and room dividers, slate for the counter and leather for seat upholstery now define the interior. Warm and muted tones run through the entire color and fabric selection. The square pattern of the fabric upholstery cites Scotland as the cradle of golf.
Great importance was also attached to the changeability of the interior concept. The restructuring of the counter eliminates the former room division and creates an open space. The furnishing concept responds to the desire for variable use. The openness also extends to the outside via the window front in the main room, which creates references between the interior and the green outdoor space.
In addition, suspended ceilings, acoustic walls, a fireplace and a new lighting concept contribute to a homey and cozy ambience. The outdoor area with terrace underwent a makeover and invites to a cozy evening out on balmy evenings.
