How do architects imagine the perfect Team event? A tour of a large construction site and a good dinner probably come very close.

And are exactly what we did with the whole office before the summer break: As we move around the impressive construction site of Stuttgart21, our eyes wander. The futuristic design for the underground station was created by Christoph Ingenhoven; Werner Sobek is responsible for the structural design calculations: The 450-meter-long station hall is supported by a total of 28 cup columns. None of which is like the other. Each one is unique.

"It was a real blast," was the comment after the tour from Team, and "it was powerful to see the impressive building in the heart of the city." Apparently, the construction site impressed. Understandably so, because what the biggest contractors like Züblin, Godel-Beton and seele are accomplishing here is extraordinary and inspires us for our own work.

Tell stories and laugh together

Afterwards, there will be plenty of time for gushing, reflecting, exchanging ideas and laughing. A good dinner brings the event to a successful close - right in the neighborhood of our still young office location in downtown Stuttgart.

And when we say goodbye late in the evening at balmy temperatures and disperse in the streets, the night until the next working day is short, but the stories we can tell are long. And the photo albums are full.
