Architecture Masterprize for the fire station Tübingen -Lustnau
The fire station Tübingen-Lustnau was awarded the prestigious Architecture Masterprize in the Green Architecture category. The award ceremony took place on November 18, 2024 at the iconic Guggenheim Museum Bilbao - a globally recognized masterpiece of modern architecture designed by Frank Gehry.
The winners' gala of the Architecture Masterprize is an outstanding event on the international architecture scene and once again took place at one of the most symbolic locations of modern building culture. The Guggenheim Museum, a landmark of the city of Bilbao, provided the event with an incomparable backdrop.
The celebrations began with a stylish reception, where guests from all over the world had the opportunity to exchange ideas and enjoy the extraordinary architecture of the venue. Finally, the awards ceremony was held in the museum's impressive hall - an evening that paid tribute to the diversity and innovative power of contemporary architecture. The festive finale was a gala dinner at which the winners were able to celebrate their successes in an inspiring atmosphere.Our fire station Tübingen-Lustnau, awarded in the Green Architecture category, is a milestone in sustainable construction. As the first timber-frame fire station in the city of Tübingen , it combines functionality, aesthetics and resource conservation at the highest level. It stands for a building culture that takes responsibility and sets new standards for municipal construction.
The 13th national and international award for our office fills us with great pride. As one of the few German architectural firms to be honored in this international competition, we see it as special recognition of our work and as motivation to continue realizing sustainable and innovative architectural projects.
