We don't just look at projects in one dimension. But holistically. And with the company name of Gaus Generalplaner GmbH in April 2023, which is legally independent from the company "Gaus Architekten", we enable our clients the complete processing from one source.

Construction is not getting easier, especially for public-sector clients. Rather, it will become more complex. With the deletion of Section 3 (7) Sentence 2 of the Procurement Ordinance (VgV), even the smallest construction projects will have to be put out to tender on a Europe-wide basis in future, because the sum of the planning fees will be used as the basis for checking the threshold value and not just the architect's fee.

Assignment as general planner

For our public-sector clients, we want to be the project partner who gets the project to the finish line. As a general planner, we succeed better:

• The client sees only one contact person in the project structure consisting of various planners, who pulls all the strings in the project. Deficits and redundancies in communication are avoided.
• Legally, the client only has to conclude one contract with us as general planner instead of several planning contracts. Costly award procedures are reduced to a single one.
• The project result gains significantly in quality because integral planning becomes possible. The entire, interdisciplinary planningteam creates a holistic work.

In individual projects, we have already been able to implement complex construction projects as general planners: We have implemented two large school complexes with forward-looking educational concepts - in Spangdahlem with a construction volume of 70 million euros. In Böblingen, one of the largest school centers in Baden-Württemberg was built at a cost of almost 80 million euros.

For the city of Esslingen am Neckar , we are acting as general planners to examine 45,000 square meters of existing space and then respond with redevelopment measures as needed. At the same time, we are implementing a residential quarter for an investor in the Goeppingen area.

Everywhere here, we act as a comprehensive planner to whom the clients have entrusted their project.
