Green light for new fire station in Todtnau

‍TheTodtnau municipal council cleared the way for the new fire station building at its meeting on July 24, 2025. After the planning was presented, the project was approved by a large majority, with only one vote against. The new building for the Todtnau volunteer fire department is being built next to the bus station and will replace the previous fire station building on Rathausplatz. The plan is for a functionally well thought-out building with a modern vehicle hall for six emergency vehicles, spacious changing areas, training rooms and a practice area in the basement. Due to the existing topography, the ensemble will be complemented by an underground car park with additional parking spaces - also for use by the city.
