Mögglingen Fire Department - Inauguration Weekend for the New Fire Station, June 20–21

The construction of the new fire station in Mögglingen has created a state-of-the-art facility for the volunteer fire department that meets the increased requirements for operational readiness, hygiene, and training.
The new building replaces the existing, aging fire station and provides optimal conditions for modern firefighting operations. The vehicle bay has space for four emergency vehicles and is complemented by workshops, technical rooms, training areas, and modern changing rooms and restrooms. Clear operational procedures and short distances ensure efficient organization during emergencies.
Special attention was paid to creating a place that fosters a sense of identity for the fire department and the community. In addition to meeting functional requirements, spaces were created for training, youth development, and camaraderie. The youth and children’s fire departments find ideal conditions here for their activities and for ensuring the long-term sustainability of volunteer service.
The new building was developed in close collaboration with the community and its users. The project was further strengthened by the significant contributions of the firefighters themselves and the support of the Friends of the Fire Department. Today, the fire station stands as a visible symbol of civic engagement and an important pillar of the community’s safety.
