Rudersberg Rescue Center: Construction of the multi-million dollar project is set to begin in March.

New rescue center for Rudersberg
Rudersberg is getting a new rescue center for the fire department and German Red Cross. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of March and is expected to be completed in 2028, with a construction period of around two to two and a half years.
The existing buildings no longer meet current requirements and are in need of renovation. The new building will therefore be constructed at a new location on the outskirts of town so that operations can continue without temporary arrangements during the construction phase.
The plan is to construct a modern, modular building with a green roof and photovoltaic system. The fire department and German Red Cross will each have their own areas as well as modern functional rooms.
With this project, worth around €13.5 million, the municipality is making a long-term investment in the safety and future viability of local emergency services.
