Wood plays a central role in climate-friendly construction - but there are many reservations, especially when it comes to fire protection. Our fire station in Tübingen is one of 50 innovative projects presented in the latest CRADLE series publication on hybrid timber construction, which shows how sustainable construction and high safety requirements can go hand in hand.

In an interview, Christian Gaus talks about the challenges and solutions involved in building the fire station - particularly with regard to fire protection and the targeted use of hybrid construction methods.
