Sustainably transformed spaces: Inauguration of the redevelopment in the district office

Working together for a great task

Last Saturday was a very special day for us. And it all started with a call from Cologne - about five years ago: "Mr. Gaus, are we teaming up or are you our competitor in the trial?"

Topic of conversation: The redevelopment of the district administration office building in Goeppingen on a total of almost 8,000 square meters. A technically and architecturally outdated building from the 1960s that no longer met modern requirements.

It quickly became clear to us that a joint approach was the best way forward. And so, under the supervision of project manager Drees & Sommer, a total of five years of cooperation followed between us and kister scheithauer gross - the task: the complete transformation of the administration building.

The focus was not only on the modernization of building services and accessibility, but also on comprehensive fire protection and energy refurbishment. Last but not least, a design and conceptual redesign of the working environment was to be implemented. Last Saturday, on 08.07.2023, we were able to celebrate the inauguration.

Today, we are very grateful to be able to use these new premises. The employees feel very comfortable.

Celebrate together and work together

Celebrating together with the staff of the district office; not only the successful renovation and further new construction projects of the office, but also the work of the district, generally living together, society - that was a very special day for us.

A day that showed us again how important the community is. And only as a community can we solve the challenges of our time. Like, for example, the preservation of existing buildings for a sustainable transformation of our cities.

The caller about five years ago from Cologne was Professor Kister, former professor of our owner Christian Gaus. We had quickly decided to work together.

I am glad that we realized this together.
