Seven years of “ GAUS Architekten.” We started out together. Together, we’ve made a big difference.

On November 1, 2019, Christian Gaus and Saskia Gaus-Mens embarked on a new chapter together with GAUS Architekten —with courage, a clear vision, and the conviction that together they could make a difference.

Just a few months later, the coronavirus pandemic hit. Many of our plans had to be rethought. It was our first major challenge—and a time when our shared direction became even clearer.

In 2020, we clearly defined our goals: to create good architecture, to take responsibility, and to design spaces that make a difference in people’s lives.

Today, the results are visible and tangible. Over the past seven years, we have designed, developed, and implemented many special projects through our “ Team .” National and international awards have recognized this work, and we are proud of it.

It means just as much to us to see our buildings come to life and prove their worth in everyday use.

With “ GNA ” ( Gaus Native Architecture ), we have given our architectural philosophy a name. Staying true to it is a daily challenge for us. The market is tight, the projects are complex, and personnel changes also place high demands on us.

Our commitment remains the same: to work diligently, find solutions together, and bring good architecture to life.

For us, these seven years are above all a time of gratitude: for the trust that has been placed in us; for the opportunities we have been given and have seized; and for the people with whom we have been able to continue developing our firm.
