NWZ: Local council meeting in Donzdorf

The NWZ reported in detail on the forward-looking project of the Donzdorf fire department: The existing location in the stables on the castle grounds will be retained and extended with a modern vehicle hall. This special fire station, which has been in existence for almost 35 years and is considered one of the oldest in Germany, will thus receive the necessary modernization to meet future requirements.

The decisive decision to build a new vehicle hall with three parking spaces was made at the municipal council meeting the day before. An important step into the future, which lays the foundation for the long-term development of the site. The project will be implemented in several construction phases, with the modernization including a long-term upgrade of the existing premises in addition to the new hall.

We are delighted to be able to support this important project and are looking forward to the next steps: design planning, funding application and building application. This decision not only honors the history of the Marstall, but also secures the operational readiness of the Donzdorf fire department in the long term!
