EINSEINSZWEI fire department architecture

We build many fire stations and fire station concepts. Buildings whose function is paramount, but which still have to be of high architectural quality. We would like to share our expertise in this particular area with our "ONE IN TWO" exhibition - in the spirit of a forward-looking and collaborative building culture. We want you, dear visitors, to be able to immerse yourself in the world of firefighters and architects and thus gain a professionally sound insight into the diverse design principles and functional regulations of fire department buildings. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Fire stations are a special building task. They are functional infrastructure buildings that need to be located as close as possible to or even in the city and must therefore be integrated in the best possible architectural way. What's more, they are social meeting places for volunteers and thus places of functioning social interaction.

Gute Architektur ist das Ergebnis sorgfältiger Planung, die sowohl ästhetische als auch funktionale Aspekte berücksichtigt. Feuerwehrhäuser, als wichtige Infrastrukturbauten, sind speziell für den Einsatzfall konzipiert und spielen gleichzeitig eine bedeutende Rolle im städtebaulichen und sozialen Kontext. Die Ausstellung „einseinszwei“ von Gaus Architekten veranschaulicht die Entwicklung zeitgemäßer Feuerwehrhäuser, die der Gesellschaft und der Baukultur einen Mehrwert bieten. Die Vernissage musste leider aufgrund eines Trauerfalls verschoben werden und findet am Donnerstag, 20. Juni 2024, statt; die Ausstellung läuft bis zum 27. Juli 2024.
