Double award Iconic Award "Innovative Architecture
"Architecture for people" - and thus also for the environment - is the credo that runs through all the concepts and buildings of Gaus Architekten . This is how visionary ideas are created, buildings with which new paths are taken.
We are very grateful and at the same time proud of the double award. With our buildings, we want to make a positive contribution to our society - the international award gives us tailwind.

The Iconic Award was presented by the German Design Council, which was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag and is internationally known as the German Design Council. Today, the Council is one of the world's most important institutions dedicated to the communication and knowledge transfer of design and architecture. Its awards are regarded as an independent seal of quality of international standing for contemporary developments and design achievements.
The award-winning fire station at Tübingen-Lustnau, built entirely from regional timber from FSC-certified silviculture, has already received the DMK Award for Sustainable Building and also impresses with an energy concept based on renewable energies. The latter also applies to the office building in Goeppingen, which also won the Iconic Award and was equipped in the planning phase with a fuel cell to produce electricity for its own use. An efficient brine-to-water heat pump provides heating and cooling, and the concrete ceilings are left exposed as temperature storage masses.
Both buildings are an excellent illustration of our architectural aspirations, and we intend to build on this in the future. But for now, let's take a moment to celebrate.
