Nax Bak - Breakfast

As part of this year's Biennale, the NAX BAK Architects' Breakfast was a successful start to the professional exchange. We were able to experience exciting impulses and intensive discussions in a special atmosphere. An impressive panel of speakers included, among others: Sabine Poschmann (Parliamentary State Secretary), Elisabeth Endres (Curator of the German Pavilion) and Andrea Gebhard (President of the Federal Chamber of Architects).
Central topics were:
1. the value of the finite resource "land"
2. the importance of good urban development
3. biodiversity and architecture in transition
Lots of familiar faces, interesting discussions - and a big thank you to NAX BAK for the invitation, we are delighted to be part of the network!

Afterwards: The opening of the German Pavilion:
The "STRESSTEST" theme reflects the challenges of our time: climate change, scarcity of resources, social responsibility. An impressive concept that attracts numerous interested parties. Curator Elisabeth Endres summarized the intention as follows:"(...) that this is not an exhibition that you go through, but that you take your time and say: I'm going to the German pavilion to relax. That is our great wish."
The atmosphere in Venice was - as always - unique: the architecture scene from all over the world came together to share ideas, perspectives and innovations - an inspiring day - we took inspiration, contacts and motivation back to our practice.
