"Mission Impossible"

And indeed: Anyone familiar with the history of this project knows that this term is by no means an exaggeration.

In recent years, something extraordinary has emerged from numerous challenges, unanswered questions, and difficult circumstances. This was not the work of individuals, but of a strong community. The administration, the town council, the fire department, and the planning team worked together toward a common goal—and achieved it.

We were particularly impressed by the Mögglingen Fire Department itself. The firefighters contributed approximately 2,500 hours of their own time—2,500 hours of their free time, 2,500 hours of dedication, and 2,500 hours devoted to the safety of their community. This is an achievement that goes far beyond the call of duty and demonstrates their deep commitment to this project.

For us as architects, this fire station was therefore never just a building. It is the result of trust, passion, and a shared determination to turn a seemingly impossible task into something special.

"Mission Impossible" has been transformed into a modern fire station for future generations. A place for readiness, camaraderie, and safety. A building that shows what is possible when everyone involved works together.
