Visit from Uganda - Jane, the principal of Santa Monica Junior School, visits the office

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming a very special guest to our office: Jane, the principal of Santa Monica Junior School from Uganda. Her visit was part of a major initiative by the Rotary Club of Goeppingen. Christian Gaus, office owner and President of the Rotary Club of Goeppingen, had recently traveled to Uganda with other members of the Rotary Club to support the Global Grant project and the construction of the Santa Monica Junior School on site.

In conversation with Jane and Christian Gaus, we gained valuable insights into the current status of Santa Monica Junior School. Jane enthusiastically told us about the culture of the region and the traditions that characterize daily life and the school community.

In addition to these cultural aspects, she also reported on the progress of the school, which plays a central role in the education of children in her region. The meeting gave us a fascinating insight into the project and the positive impact of the Rotary Club's involvement and the Global Grant project on the school community.

It was impressive to hear how the local support not only improves educational opportunities, but also enriches the daily lives of the pupils and their families. Jane's visit was a valuable opportunity to experience the moving project first-hand and learn how a shared vision can lead to concrete change.
